Firstly I need to just say my first name is pronounced DAY-NEE but I will answer to most things!

After many years of running an SME manufacturing business I learnt everything from scratch and the hard way. Now, armed with experience and 20/20 hindsight my aim is to help people through the highs and lows of business and education, the things that I remain passionate about.

We all need someone to help support us, a set of ears and eyes to give another view,  a confidante, a telephone/email directory, an introducer, a problem solver, a shoulder to cry on, a mediator, a motivator. Most of all we need a friend on our side and someone we can trust. This often includes being challenged and pushed outside of our comfort zone – but for our own benefit of course.

CEO’s and MD’s spend approximately 40% of their time actually running their business. Managing Directors should manage the direction of their business but yet their time is often spent sorting political issues, H & S management, employment issues and chasing their tail. This even applies to retailers, teachers and tutors, they are expected to be everything to everyone. I believe in supporting organisations so that the executives can run them successfully without distraction.
